Today we will travel from the U.S. and fly all night to arrive into Copenhagen the next morning.
Day 2: Fri. Oct 6, 2017
Welcome to Copenhagen! Scandinavia's largest city is a treasure trove of art, history, architecture and modern design. You will enjoy its fairy-tale settings like palaces, castles and elegant gardens. After our arrival today we will spend the day touring this capital city which will include the iconic Little Mermaid statue in the harbor and the Copenhagen Cathedral which houses the original Thorvaldsen Christus that the LDS church has replicated for many LDS of its visitor centers across the world. The evening is yours to enjoy as wish to go out on the town or rest from your travels. Overnight in Copenhagen.

This afternoon we will board the Norwegian Getaway for our Scandinavian and Baltic Cruise. We will have a little get-together in the evening to get acquainted with each other on our group.
Day 4: Sun. Oct 8, 2017
Warnemunde – Berlin, Germany
It's been more than two decades since the walls came down and Berlin became unified in many ways, including the pursuit of joy. Germany's capital city is a city that balances cosmopolitan chic with a liberal undercurrent of creativity and cool. Famous historical landmarks include the Brandenburg Gate and Reichstag . You are free to explore Berlin on your own. Shore excursion choices will be offered.
Day 5: Mon. Oct 9, 2017
Today you will have a meeting with Chad to discuss the LDS Church in Scandinavia and the splendor of the art is this region. Enjoy your day at sea with the many amenities aboard the Getaway.
Day 6: Tues. Oct 10, 2017
The capital of Estonia impresses cruise guests with its mixture of old houses and very modern boutiques. Journey inside the ancient stoned walls of Old Town to explore stunning Medieval landmarks like Toompea Castle or experience Tsar Peter I's Kadriorg Palace, filled with art and surrounded by sculpted gardens and peaceful woodlands. You are free to explore Tallinn on your own. Shore excursion choices will be offered.
Day 7: Weds. Oct 11, 2017
St. Petersburg, Russia
Elaborate palaces, grand churches, amazing estates, and gilded façades, St. Petersburg is rich in architectural masterpieces and artistic treasures. Enjoy the culture and grandeur of this historic city built by the tsars.
We will be offering an optional private shore excursion just for our own group.
Day 8: Thurs. Oct 12, 2017
Welcome to Scandinavia's “White City of the North,” Helsinki is a city which keeps its historical roots intact. Discover the national pride of the Finnish people along with the Swedish and Russian legacy in this beautiful capital. Helsinki is filled with graceful architecture and monuments and surrounded on three sides by sea and tiny islands.
We will be offering an optional privately guided LDS Shore excursion today to visit the Helsinki LDS Temple where you will be given some time to serve in the temple before seeing the city highlights such as Senate Square, the Presidential Palace, the Opera house and Finlandia house. The Temppeliaukio church is an impressive site being built into a rock wall.
Day 9: Fri. Oct 13, 2017
Laced by an ingenious network of waterways and bridges strung between a freshwater lake and the sea, Stockholm is has gabled old townhouses that peer over cobblestone streets, while its magnificent 17th-century palace sits watching over the harbor.
We will be offering an optional privately guided LDS Shore excursion today to visit the Stockholm LDS Temple where you will be given some time to serve in the temple before seeing the city. Afterwards we will see highlights of the city by such as the Royal Place and the Vasa Museum.
Day 10: Sat. Oct 14, 2017
Cruising at Sea
Today is another day to rest from your activities and relax on your day at sea. This afternoon we will again get together and talk about the history, architect and special stories of the LDS temples we saw and the Saints of these countries that are building their local Zion.
Day 11: Sun. Oct 15, 2017
Today after we leave our ship we will have a transfer waiting to take us on a tour of Frederiksberg Castle, the largest Renaissance Castle in Scandinavia which houses the Museum of National History. We will enjoy hearing from Chad Hawkins the artist perspective on the many iconic paintings of the Savior by Carl Bloch's. We will visit the Copenhagen Temple grounds. This evening will be yours to enjoy as you like to enjoy the city.
Day 12: Mon. Oct 16, 2017
Copenhagen, Denmark– Flight Home
This morning we will board our flight for the return trip home to the U.S.A. Note: For those who wish to attend the Copenhagen Temple, you may wish to extend your time in Denmark a couple of extra days.
